Are you an experienced Solicitor/Senior Solicitor seeking a dynamic role in Employment Law? We have an excellent opportunity with a leading litigation firm highly acclaimed by Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.

Position Details:
- Manage a diverse caseload of contentious employment matters using advanced case management systems.
- Lead Employment Tribunal proceedings, including drafting pleadings, obtaining witness statements, and representing clients.
- Oversee all client communications.
- Adhere to stringent service level standards.
- NQ - 5 years+ PQE with substantial experience in employment law.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, delivering clear and concise advice.
- Excellent legal acumen, analytical skills, and commercial focus.
- Conscientious and commercially minded, dedicated to meeting clients' needs.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships, influencing and earning colleagues' respect.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, ensuring efficiency and meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated and autonomous, capable of managing personal caseloads.
- Proficiency in IT systems to optimize efficiency.

1. What were you doing before you joined Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment?
Prior to starting at Douglas Scott, I graduated from The University of Strathclyde with a Psychology degree. I then joined another legal recruitment firm in Manchester where I focused on the Chicago legal market for 10 months.
2. What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am looking forward to getting to know the team at Douglas Scott. I am also excited to gain expertise in a new legal market hopefully making lots of successful placements!
3. If you weren’t in recruitment what would you be doing?
If I didn’t go into recruitment, I would have most likely completed my master’s in forensic psychology and pursued a career in that field.

Something people might not know is I was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland.
