Defendant Catastrophic Injury role available in SouthamptonA fantastic opportunity has become available at a market leading defendant law firm based in Southampton. This role offers the opportunity to work on Catastrophic Injury claims which are often multi-million pound brain injury, spinal injury, amputation and fatal claims.
Day to day you will be running a number of complex files solely which will give you the opportunity to build your own profile with clients whilst also assisting the partner on multi million-pound files involving injuries of the utmost severity.
Experience of indemnity, liability and complex medical issues is preferred and excellent attention to detail essential. The role also includes the need to engage with senior claims handlers in long-standing insurance clients; therefore great communication skills is essential.
The firm is open on the PQE level and are seeking qualified Solicitors/Legal Executives that has defendant or claimant experience.

Francesca began working for Douglas Scott in 2017, joining the National Insurance team. Her role involves placing Paralegals and Solicitors into claimant and defendant Personal Injury law firms in the London area and her clients range from sole-practitioners to international Law Firms. Francesca previously worked for an insurance company as a part of the Expert Liaison team, and so, has previous knowledge within the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury market. She graduated from the University of Lancashire after completing a Primary School Teaching degree, prior to that gaining A-Levels in Business Studies, English and Religious Studies.
