A Top Tier, International Law Firm is currently looking to expand their Healthcare Litigation team based in SouthamptonThe firm is seeking someone that is 0-5 years PQE with previous experience within Clinical Negligence. This is an excellent opportunity to for an ambitious individual, to join an award winning and progressive team that is highly specialised within all Healthcare Insurance matters.
You will be handling a fulfilling case-load of defendant clinical negligence files, acting for a wide variety of clients ranging from NHS Resolution and Trusts to independent providers and medical malpractice insurers. Day to day you will be engaging in direct client care, drafting legal documents, negotiating and mediating claims and preparing cases. The ideal candidate would come from a defendant clinical negligence background, experience within NHS Resolution/MDO Panel work is desirable although not essential as they are also willing to consider candidates from a Claimant Clinical Negligence or Defendant Personal Injury background

Francesca began working for Douglas Scott in 2017, joining the National Insurance team. Her role involves placing Paralegals and Solicitors into claimant and defendant Personal Injury law firms in the London area and her clients range from sole-practitioners to international Law Firms. Francesca previously worked for an insurance company as a part of the Expert Liaison team, and so, has previous knowledge within the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury market. She graduated from the University of Lancashire after completing a Primary School Teaching degree, prior to that gaining A-Levels in Business Studies, English and Religious Studies.
