Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts (8am–4pm, 9am–5pm, or 10am–6pm, depending on business needs). Flexibility is required for occasional late finishes to support events.
Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 per annum, depending on experience
We are seeking a professional and personable
Front of House Assistant to join a dynamic leading Law Firm. This role is pivotal in creating an outstanding first impression for clients, stakeholders, and visitors, and plays a key part in representing the firm’s values and culture.
As part of the Front of House team, you will help deliver a high standard of service and hospitality across all client touchpoints. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Business Development, Bids, Marketing, Client Relationships, Events, and the broader Front of House function.
Key Responsibilities: - Greet all visitors warmly and professionally, delivering a welcoming and seamless reception experience.
- Respond to client, stakeholder, and supplier enquiries in-person, by phone, and via email.
- Order and manage stock, including stationery and catering supplies.
- Assist in organising and delivering meetings and events, ensuring spaces are prepared according to brand and host specifications.
- Serve food and beverages during meetings and events, and support room resets afterward.
- Ensure meeting room technology (AV/VC) is set up and operational. Training will be provided.
- Provide cover at other client suite locations when required. Travel and accommodation (if necessary) will be arranged.
- Report and follow up on facilities-related issues, including building, cleaning, or security concerns.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation, including health and safety standards.
- Offer administrative support to the wider C&M team as needed.
Experience & Background: - Previous experience in reception, hospitality, luxury retail, or another client-facing role.
- Comfortable operating in a professional and service-oriented environment.
- Warm, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, organised, and able to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Capable of both independent work and team collaboration.
- Positive, resilient, and adaptable to change.
- Effective at solving problems and anticipating needs.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Zoom, and room booking platforms.
- Willingness to learn new systems and tools to support meeting and event delivery.
