My clients Employment team is acknowledged by prestigious rankings such as Legal 500 and Chambers, and has seen significant growth in recent years, attracting top-tier clients across diverse sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
- Providing corporate support and guidance on employment-related issues linked to mergers, acquisitions, and TUPE.
- Handling a wide range of employment disputes and issues affecting both employers and employees.
- Preparation of Tribunal cases and representing clients at hearings when required.
- Actively contributing to departmental and firm-wide business development and marketing endeavors.
- Cultivating and nurturing client relationships.
- Collaborating within the team and taking the lead on specific projects.
- Supervising junior team members.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Substantial experience in a reputable Employment Department.
- Demonstrated ability in developing new client relationships.
- Exceptional client care skills.
- Strong commercial insight.
Emily joined Douglas Scott in March 2017, initially as part of the Master Vendor team of consultants focusing on the recruitment for one specialised client account. Emily went on to join the National Support desk where she concentrated on business support roles within law firms. Currently Emily works on the London and South East region desk covering private practice and working with a range of small regional practices, boutique firms and larger national practices including well-established departments as well as emerging firms. Emily graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2016 and studied Criminology and Criminal Justice. Previous to this, she completed her A-levels in Business studies, ICT and Sociology.
