Exciting Opportunity for Commercial Property Solicitor in Scotland!I am currently seeking a talented Commercial Property Solicitor with 2 to 4 years of experience to join a leading real estate team in Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to work with international and UK market-leading retailers, hotel operators, and private equity investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice to prominent retail and leisure clients.
- Assisting high-end hotel owners and operators.
- Advising domestic and foreign Private Equity advisors on Scottish investments.
- Collaborating on cross-border deals with English and international firms.
- Managing landlord and tenant estate transactions while building client relationships.
- 2 to 4 years of strong commercial property experience
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
1. What were you doing before you joined Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment?
Prior to starting at Douglas Scott, I graduated from The University of Strathclyde with a Psychology degree. I then joined another legal recruitment firm in Manchester where I focused on the Chicago legal market for 10 months.
2. What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am looking forward to getting to know the team at Douglas Scott. I am also excited to gain expertise in a new legal market hopefully making lots of successful placements!
3. If you weren’t in recruitment what would you be doing?
If I didn’t go into recruitment, I would have most likely completed my master’s in forensic psychology and pursued a career in that field.
