Commercial Litigation Associate

London – £110,000 - £125,000

I am working alongside an interntational law firm in London who are seeking a Commercial Disputes Associate 3 to 5 years PQE to join their team in London to work on complex litigation matters. With locations across the United States as well as Canada, Europe and Asia, the firm provides an integrated, dedicated approach to its clients' legal and business needs. Their diverse client base includes more than one-third of Fortune 100 companies. 

The Role: 
This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the full spectrum of commercial litigation, from initial pleadings through to trial and appeal. As a valued member of the team, you will enjoy significant responsibility over pending cases and invaluable in-court experience. As a disputes associate, you will be at the forefront of handling complex litigation matters. Your day-to-day tasks will encompass:

• Disclosure: Managing the disclosure process efficiently and effectively.
• Drafting Statements of Case: Crafting precise and compelling legal documents.
• Witness Proofing: Skillfully preparing witnesses for their testimonies.
• Research, Legal Analysis, and Advisory Work: Providing comprehensive legal support and strategic advice.
• Trial Preparation: Assisting in the meticulous preparation for trials.

The Candidate: 

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of post-qualification commercial litigation experience.
• Qualification: Admission as a solicitor in England and Wales; or ability to practice in England and Wales without the need for sponsorship.
• Skills: Excellent research and writing skills, with a proven track record of strong academic performance.
