Residential Property Solicitor

London – £55,000 - £80,000

A forward-thinking, legal 500 law firm is currently on the lookout for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their team in Central London.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, leases, and property development projects.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of residential property law, including conveyancing, leasehold, freehold, and landlord and tenant issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct due diligence and property investigations to identify any legal issues or risks associated with transactions.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in property transactions to facilitate smooth and timely closings.
• Stay up to date with changes in property law and regulations and provide training and guidance to junior team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with extensive experience minimum 4 years PQE in residential property law.
• Solid knowledge of UK property law, including conveyancing procedures, leasehold and freehold transactions, and landlord and tenant law.
• Proven track record of managing complex residential property transactions from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
