Clinical Negligence Solcitor

Birmingham – £40,000 - £55,000

My client, an international law firm, is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Associate to join their expanding Tier 1 ranked department for their Birmingham office.

The role will be defending a caseload of Clinical Negligence files on behalf of NHSR and NHS trusts, as well as private hospitals. The caseload will consist of litigated and pre-litigated files of mixed values. You will be working on a range of matters from cerebral palsy, incorrect diagnosis and fatal claims. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in business development and assist in the training and development of junior fee earners.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor 1 -2 years PQE gained at a defendant law firm. You will also need previous experience handing or assisting a Clinical Negligence caseload. If you do come from a claimant background and looking to get into a defendant firm you will still be considered.

Salary will be £55,000 DOE, flexible and hybrid working is also offered with your time split 50/50 between the office and at home and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and the option to buy more.
