Position Overview:

As a Housing Disrepair Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in representing clients who have suffered from housing disrepair issues, there will also be the opportunity to get involved in Medical Negligence files. You will be responsible for managing a caseload, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and advocating on behalf of clients in court proceedings when necessary as well as expanding a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims
  • Opportunity to also work on Clinical Negligence files.
  • Conduct legal research
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third-party stakeholders.
  • Negotiate settlements and attend mediations to resolve disputes.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified Solicitor/ Legal Exec/ Fee Earner with a dynamic and entrepreneurial spirt.
  • Strong background in Housing disrepair and some previous experience within clinical negligence/ PI
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
