Trust Solicitor

Ware – £35,000 - £50,000

A well established, legal 500 law firm is currently looking for a Trust Solicitor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for specialising in trusts, a solid understanding of various trust structures and their taxation, and experience handling trust matters from inception to conclusion.

Key responsibilities:

• Drafting Deeds of Retirement and Appointment of Trustees
• Preparing Deeds of Appointment of trust assets from Discretionary Trusts
• Overseeing the setup of trusts, including drafting relevant documentation, and facilitating asset transfers
• Drafting Declarations of Trust to establish beneficial interests in property.
• Managing the registration of trusts with HMRC on the Trust Registration Service
• Offering advice on the implications and taxation of various trust types to trustees and beneficiaries

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor with 1-5 years PQE in Trust work
• Interest in promoting the firm's reputation both internally and externally.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Positive attitude and a focus on uplifting others
• Demonstrated good judgment, maturity, and risk-awareness.
