Corporate Senior Associate - International Firm - Manchester

This is a leading global legal business with an excellent reputation for innovation and client service who are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Corporate Lawyer to join their team.

The firm is known for it's high end corporate deals and you will be working on cross-border transactions.  Due to the nature of these transactions, you will, on occasion, be working long hours and to tight deadlines, however once a deal has been completed, the firm ensure the team get some time off to recharge.

There is also ample opportunity to work across their network of international offices and/or on secondment either here in the UK or further afield.

Responsibilities:

• Advising on a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity investments.
• Drafting and negotiating transactional documentation, including share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, and shareholder agreements.
• Conducting due diligence on target companies.
• Advising on general corporate matters, such as corporate governance and company law compliance.

Requirements:

• Qualified Lawyer with at least 5 years' PQE in corporate law.
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Client-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
