Senior IP Associate

London – £105,000 - £125,000

Our clients Intellectual Property practice boasts an unparalleled record in handling high-profile IP litigation, tackling cutting-edge legal issues. The team are seeking a talented Senior Associate with at least 5 Years contentious IP experience to join their London office.

As a Senior Associate within the IP team, you will join a highly esteemed international practice with colleagues spanning Europe and beyond. Responsibilities include supporting partners, overseeing junior fee earners on complex cases, and managing smaller cases under supervision. Additionally, there's an emphasis on engaging in business development activities, particularly within soft IP, technology, and data disputes. While the role primarily entails contentious work, there may be opportunities for non-contentious advisory tasks.

What You Can Expect:
  • Proactively managing assigned files and supporting partner caseloads.
  • Supervising and developing junior associates.
  • Corresponding with clients, counsel, and third parties.
  • Managing all essential steps in litigation.
About You:
  • 5+ years PQE.
  • Substantial experience in at least two of the following fields: trade mark, copyright, design rights, database rights, and confidential information/trade secrets.
  • Additional experience in information technology, data protection, privacy, and patents is advantageous.
  • Strong familiarity with English High Court cases and court procedures.
  • Proven ability to work in a team and engage directly with clients.
  • Completion of the Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice (or similar) from a recognized institution is desirable but not mandatory.
