EL/PL Senior Associate

Leeds – £50,000 - £70,000

My client is an established and reputable Legal 500 law firm across the globe. They are looking for a Senior Associate to join their expanding team in the Leeds office to work on complex liability and injury matters mostly within employers and public liability. The successful candidate will handle a range of claims and have the ability to manage high level catastrophic injury claims. Ideally a working knowledge of coverage is required.

Their national practice services personal injury claims from seven office locations across the UK. The Leeds team is a major force in the local market and is ranked in the top tier for defendant personal injury by the legal directories. They act on complex and high-profile cases, led by experienced Partners recognised as market leaders in this sector. 

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Mixed value, non-volume, up to high multi-track
• EL/PL/Motor
• SME insureds
• Leisure and Retail industries
• Defective premises/Property
• Product liability
• Both pre-litigation and litigated files.

Required experience: 

• 5 + years' UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with the relevant experience*
• Litigation experience of assisting up to high multi-track defence work
