Motor Litigation Executive
Manchester – £30,000 - £45,000
My client is an award-winning, renowned law firm with an enviable reputation in the industry, they are looking for a Litigation Executive to assist on defendant personal injury motor liability claims. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high quality caseload for a variety of clients.They are a known global law firm with expertise in dispute resolution and advisory services. Their lawyers handle both contentious and non-contentious matters, and provide a range of specialist legal services, for many industry sectors but we have particular expertise in litigation and dispute resolution, especially in defending insurance and liability claims.

Team
The firm's Manchester Liability team handle pre and post litigation work including small, large loss, fast and multi-track employers' and public liability claims. They also advise on motor liability matters involving road traffic incidents, catastrophic injury, occupational disease matters and complex liability issues across all sectors.
Required experience
- 3 years' + with the relevant experience*
- Litigation experience of motor and recovery defence work
- Experience of assisting on large cases in a team environment
- Knowledge of the personal injury pre-action protocol
- Previous client contact
- Credit hire experience is desirable
- Experience of arbitration and negotiation.

What were you doing before you joined Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment?
I just completed my law degree at Edge Hill University and was working in the sales department of a call center in the energy sector.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am most looking forward to a new opportunity and adventure, hitting the ground running in a new career and the opportunities to progress up the ladder with Douglas Scott. I also love the idea of helping people discover new opportunities for themselves in their careers.
If you weren’t in recruitment what would you be doing?
I would most likely be pursuing my law degree down the more traditional route of further study with an LPC and becoming a solicitor.
Tell us something that people might not know about you?
I love true crime documentaries and it scares my boyfriend to no end how calm I am when I watch them! I suppose that is where the love of the legal industry comes from.
