A legal 500 firm in the heart of Reading is looking to expand their Real Estate Disputes team with a 5+PQE Solicitor. On offer is hybrid working, career progression, competitive salary, and much more!
The department manage a diverse array of contentious property matters for clients, including those stemming from leases, land transactions, and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume ownership of cases and foster client relationships
- Collaborate and seek guidance when needed
- Analyze information to make informed decisions
- Address commercial considerations
- Adapt to emerging issues while keeping stakeholders informed
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Requirements:
- Law degree and LPC
- Solicitor admission
- 5+ years experience demonstrated within property litigation
Emily joined Douglas Scott in March 2017, initially as part of the Master Vendor team of consultants focusing on the recruitment for one specialised client account. Emily went on to join the National Support desk where she concentrated on business support roles within law firms. Currently Emily works on the London and South East region desk covering private practice and working with a range of small regional practices, boutique firms and larger national practices including well-established departments as well as emerging firms. Emily graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2016 and studied Criminology and Criminal Justice. Previous to this, she completed her A-levels in Business studies, ICT and Sociology.
