London – £105,000 - £115,000

Are you a dynamic IP litigator with a keen interest in patents? Or perhaps you're looking to broaden your IP litigation expertise? Our client, a forward-thinking global firm is expanding its IP practice in London, particularly within the Tech & Media and Life Sciences sectors.

About the Role: Step into a pivotal role as an Associate specializing in Patent disputes. Be an integral part of the 300-strong full-service IP practice, offering prosecution, litigation, and licensing services. Work alongside leading companies across various sectors, handling UK litigation and coordinating multi-jurisdictional cases globally. The team represent prominent firms spanning across the Technology, Media & Communications, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Automotive, Consumer Products, Energy, and Mechanical Engineering sectors. The scope of work encompasses UK litigation and the management of multi-jurisdictional litigation on a global scale. Litigation proceedings occur before esteemed bodies such as the General Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, IP Enterprise Court, and UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO).

About You:
  •  IP litigator (2-5 PQE) with a focus on patents or a readiness to explore broader IP litigation.
  • Preferably, you have prior experience in technology and/or life sciences sectors.
  • A background in electronics, engineering, biology, chemistry, or pharmacology is advantageous but not essential.
  • This client-facing role demands confidence, sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to responsibility.
