I’m currently working with a well-established national law firm that is looking to grow its Employment team with the addition of an ambitious Solicitor (2–5 years PQE) in its Leicester office. What you’ll be doing:

• Advising both employers and employees on a wide range of employment matters, including settlement agreements.
• Managing Employment Tribunal claims from start to finish—drafting pleadings, preparing witness statements, advising on prospects, and attending hearings.
• Drafting contracts, handbooks and internal policies for clients across a variety of sectors.
• Delivering practical advice that balances legal precision with commercial awareness.
• Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management.
• Contributing to internal know-how, legal updates, and client training sessions.

What they’re looking for:

• A qualified Solicitor with 2–5 years' experience in employment law.
• Confident handling both contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Strong drafting and communication skills, with a genuine focus on client service.
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team but is equally comfortable managing their own caseload.
• A proactive, approachable and solutions-oriented mindset.
