Solicitor/Associate

This leading professional services and technology firm is seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join its expanding Glasgow-based team specialising in abuse, complex claims, and legacy work. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of pre-litigated and litigated defender cases for both insured and uninsured clients. Responsibilities will include reviewing legal documents, advising on liability and quantum, drafting court documents, conducting site visits, and assisting with business development initiatives such as articles and presentations. The role offers exposure to high-profile, sensitive cases within a supportive and well-established legal team, operating under a flexible working model.

Applicants should have between 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, with preference given to those who have worked on sensitive or complex claims. Strong forensic and analytical skills, the ability to prioritise under pressure, and excellent written and verbal communication are essential. Previous experience appearing in the Sheriff Court and instructing in the Court of Session is desirable, as is familiarity with time recording systems. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
