Forever Manchester

Over the last few years, Douglas Scott have supported charities locally, nationally and internationally, across a variety of causes. Just last month our Managing Director Kath Riley, along with three of our consultants took part in the London Legal Walk which is organised by the London Legal Support Trust.

This year our Manchester office have chosen Forever Manchester as their nominated charity, pledging to raise £5,000 within the next 12 months. Forever Manchester is a charity that funds and supports thousands of community projects across Greater Manchester, and inspires the local community to become involved.

David Burgess, Recruitment Consultant at Douglas Scott has been chosen as our Ambassador for Forever Manchester. David tells us “I’m extremely proud to have been named as Douglas Scott’s charity Ambassador for Forever Manchester this year. It is our goal to raise £5,000 within the next 12 months, which we will achieve by hosting a number of activities, spanning from Dress Down days and a charity bike ride, to me in the stocks whilst people throw cakes at me!! (But more about that later in the year…) We also plan to get involved by sharing our recruitment expertise with teenagers who are looking to gain full time work. We will support them with their CV writing, interview preparation and confidence at an interview.”
