The Role: As a key member of the busy and collaborative property team, you will manage a range of residential conveyancing transactions with a focus on delivering a smooth and stress-free client experience. You’ll enjoy a role that blends autonomy with team support, where your technical strengths and client care skills are truly valued.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running a diverse residential caseload from instruction to post-completion with minimal supervision.
- Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, leaseholds, freeholds, remortgages, new builds, and transfers of equity.
- Handling more complex matters where required, including lease extensions, unregistered titles, right-to-buy, and shared ownership schemes.
- Communicating clearly with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure timely and effective progression of transactions.
- Drafting legal documentation, reviewing title documents, raising and responding to enquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Keeping accurate and current file notes using the firm’s case management system.
- Providing an excellent level of service, tailored to each client’s individual needs, to foster trust and long-standing relationships.
What We’re Looking For: - At least 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, ideally gained in a high-street or regional firm.
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to handle a full caseload independently.
- Additional exposure to commercial or light commercial property work is desirable but not essential.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills and a client-centric approach.
- A team player who contributes positively to a collaborative environment.
- Comfortable using case management systems and working flexibly in a hybrid setting.
