A prestigious professional services firm is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to join their Corporate & Commercial team in Oxford. This is a permanent position offering a hybrid working model, with the opportunity to be part of a supportive and high-performing environment.
The Role
As Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to a team of legal professionals. You’ll work closely with Team Leaders and Regional Executive Services Managers, coordinating with internal teams such as Document Production, Administrative Assistants, and Business Services to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
You’ll have the autonomy to structure your own day while remaining a key member of a collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on multi-tasking and building strong internal and external relationships.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Support lawyers with diary and travel management, matter creation, compliance processes, and file reviews
- Draft correspondence and legal documents
- Coordinate billing, financial reports, and expense claims
- Maintain client data across internal systems and manage helpline or client service channels
- Coordinate and attend team meetings, prepare materials, and manage follow-ups
- Organise events and update internal marketing content, directories, and lawyer bios
- Assist with client newsletters and marketing communications
- Prioritise and manage multiple lawyers’ workflows
- Monitor inboxes, meet deadlines, and coordinate with support teams
- Manage internal reporting systems and spreadsheets related to key clients
The Person
The successful candidate will likely have prior experience in a leading Law Firm and be comfortable providing high-level support to senior professionals. You’ll need to be confident, highly organised, and able to take initiative while balancing a varied workload.
