What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Handling an evolving caseload of criminal defence matters, including both private and legal aid-funded cases
✔ Representing clients from police station interviews through to trial
✔ Advocating in Magistrates’ and Crown Court (with support as you develop)
✔ Building strong client relationships and providing clear, practical legal advice
✔ Working closely with senior solicitors to develop your skills and expertise

✔ Newly Qualified Solicitor (or solicitor seeking to retrain in criminal law)
✔ Passion for criminal defence and advocacy
✔ Strong communication and client-care skills
✔ Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
✔ Willingness to train as a Duty Solicitor (if not already accredited)
