Thought leadership - women in the law.

Posted in News on 28 Feb 2014

Our MD Kath Riley is rapidly becoming a thought leader on working practice and culture in the legal profession.

Kath will be sitting on her 2nd Law Gazette Roundtable in 12 months. Last year she formed part of roundtable discussion on "Diversity in the Legal Profession" - on Monday March 3rd she will be at Addleshaw Goddard's City of London office again where industry experts will offer thoughts on "Women in Law".

The meeting will be chaired by Eduardo Reyes from the Law Society Gazette and the roundtable will be tackling an agenda that will include - the identification of an equality 'dividend' | problems of access and career progression | routes to partnership and senior in-house positions | the place of parent/caring responsibilities and the role of men | role models, mentors and support | the role of profession-wide initiatives

The attendee list is impressive:

  • Louisa Caswell, Addleshaw Goddard (host)
  • Penelope Warne, CMS Cameron McKenna
  • Elisabeth Jones, the Welsh Assembly
  • Julia Chain, Huron Legal
  • Hannah Kinch, 23 Essex Street
