Keeping of the Roll

The SRA has announced that this year's ‘Keeping of the Roll’ exercise will begin on Wednesday 7th May but it could be the last ever one.
The SRA is proposing to discontinue the yearly KR1 exercise in a move aimed at reducing Solicitors' administrative burden and also saving the SRA money and resources. During some stages of the process last year – telephone calls to the SRA increased by 452%.
Applications for this year's exercise - which can be done online - need to be completed by Wednesday 2nd July.
