In January we became one of the UK’s first independent legal recruitment specialists to open up an international desk. Our International reach now spans the Middle East, Africa, Australia and Asia Pacific regions and enables us to service our clients on a truly International level.
The international team is based in the company’s London and Manchester based offices and is headed up by managing consultant Faye Rogers. Faye joined Douglas Scott having already worked in international legal recruitment for over five years and brings with her a lot of experience and understanding of how to do business in the region.
There has never been a better time for UK qualified Solicitors to be looking at international legal opportunities - particularly in the Middle East region. Faye explains: “Qatar is hosting the World Cup this year, Abu Dhabi is launching a new international financial centre and Dubai is planning for the Dubai Expo in 2020. These events mean huge growth potential in these territories, which can be served by both British and local lawyers. We have already made a number of successful senior level legal placements, both in private practice and in-house positions, and are set to expand the team.”
