With the end of summer fast approaching, many recruiters would have been winding down last week waiting to enjoy the final bank holiday of the summer, but not us at Douglas Scott. Over the past couple of weeks the team has been putting preparations in place for the start of the next educational year, which for us will bring with it a whole host of trainee and newly qualified solicitors.
So over the past fortnight, we have had the privilege of meeting with several new members of the 2011/2012 young solicitors committees within the North West to get a heads up on their plans for the coming year and to discuss how Douglas Scott can get involved.
Our support and sponsorship of the young solicitor's groups is something we consider to be highly important here at Douglas Scott. We are keen to introduce ourselves to the next generation of legal talent, offering the opportunity for them to get to know our team a little better, proving that we are much more than simply a voice at the other end of the line.
It also gives us the chance to attend some great events allowing us to let our hair down once in a while. Well we deserve it, don't we?
