A night to remember at The Yorkshire Legal Awards 2014

Last night a group of us attended the glittering Yorkshire Legal Awards at New Dock Hall in Leeds. Established over 10 years ago, the Awards celebrate the very best of the county’s legal sector with categories recognising everyone from big corporate players to small boutique practices; and senior partners to up-and-coming stars.

And what a night we had! As well as being a chance to get dressed up and socialise with the legal community, it was great to be part of such a fantastic event that celebrates outstanding talent across the region.

We caught up with David Wright from MKB Solicitors who picked up the coveted Yorkshire Lawyer of the Year Award.

“I am still lost for words” he confessed, “but absolutely delighted to have received this Award.  I work alongside a hard-working team at MKB Solicitors so this Award is also in recognition of their enthusiasm and dedication.”

Other worthy winners on the night included the team from Lake Legal LLP who picked up the Family Law Award, saying “it is reflective of the hard work of the team as a whole. We are incredibly happy.”
