Legal Counsel
Skipton – £60,000 - £65,000
- You will deliver in-house legal services as directed by the senior solicitors within the team.
- Provide advice on general legal queries to colleagues in all departments of the company.
- Where requested review commercial contracts for relevant business areas, providing advice and negotiating key clauses on behalf of the business either alone or with support from specialist colleagues
- Provide ongoing advice to relevant business areas on changes in the financial services sector which affect the business' operations including regulatory, legislative, guidance and policy.
- A qualified solicitor (ideally NQ - 3 PQE but this is just intended as a guide)
- You'll have qualified with a minimum of 1 years commercial contracts experience (this can include seats in the training contract or prior paralegal experience).

Prior to Douglas Scott, he worked for 2 years at a Financial Services Recruiter and has 6 years’ experience in the Real Estate Finance sector. Nick studied Sport and Exercise Science at Liverpool John Moores University.
