A vacancy has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join very well-established practice in the Northwest. The salary on offer is negotiable dependent on experience. The firm are seeking to appoint a legal secretary to work within their Childcare Team’s secretarial support team.
The role will involve providing secretarial support to the lawyers and fee earners in the Childcare Team. The duties include: document creation, file opening and closing, file administration (both paper based and electronic), Court bundle preparation, telephone communication with clients and other third parties, diary management, use of the Legal Aid Agency’s CCMS portal.
The successful candidate will have prior experience:
in providing legal secretarial support within the area of Childcare Law,
in using Microsoft packages, legal case management software, digital dictation software, other legal IT packages and software,
Using the Legal Aid Agency’s CCMS portal and processing legally aided work,
in providing support to several lawyers/fee earners (as opposed to working on a 1:1 ratio)
Salary & Benefits:
Salary is dependent upon experience.
23 days holiday pa, plus loyalty holiday scheme, and ability to purchase holidays.
