A legal 500 firm require a PA to join their Residential Conveyancing team on a permanent basis in Guildford.
The Conveyancing PA will provide direct support to their fee earners to enable them to operate at optimum efficiency.
Main Duties include:
- Prepare correspondence and documents to include transcribing digital dictation. - Administer filing which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the office manual. - Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch. - Prepare completion statements and assist with post exchange and pre completion formalities. - Undertake on-line form filling requirements including SDLT forms. - Prepare and submit Land Registry forms (AP1, UN1, RX1 etc.) - Obtain information from local authorities and other organisations. - Deal with registration and all post completion formalities
- Substantial previous Legal Secretarial experience including at least 2 years' experience conveyancing department - Advanced IT skills in relevant packages and excellent (speed) typing skills - Prior knowledge of Evolution or other case management systems - Knowledge of law / legal practice

Currently Emily works on the London and South East region desk covering private practice and working with a range of small regional practices, boutique firms and larger national practices including well-established departments as well as emerging firms. Emily graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2016 and studied Criminology and Criminal Justice. Previous to this, she completed her A-levels in Business studies, ICT and Sociology.
