Legal Support Assistant (PT) - Employment
Redhill – £20,000 - £22,000
As an Administrator, your duties and responsibilities will be to provide support to the fee earners of the department. No legal experience is necessary, but you must have good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and ideally Adobe Pro).
You must have an excellent telephone manner; and you must be very well organised, proactive and enthusiastic, with the capacity to work to deadlines. Office-based experience would be ideal, but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
File opening for new matters using our practice management system
Creating editable and non-editable PDF bundles of documents
Communicating with clients to obtain ID and schedule meetings etc
Produce information by formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving and copying data in both Word and Excel, and uploading to shared platforms
Organising meetings; scheduling couriers, preparing expenses, costs and billing reports and estimates.
Maintaining diaries of fee earners by planning and scheduling conferences, recording key dates
Preparing and paying invoices and tracking payments.
Maintain client confidence by keeping client/lawyer communication free flowing.
Additional information
Will have a minimum of GCSE English and Maths at A-C or equivalent
Be extremely organised and have excellent attention to detail
Enthusiastic and keen to offer support to the team and be relied on
Excellent IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
Your verbal and written communication will be clear, straightforward and accurate
You will have the ability to use your own initiative and demonstrate excellent team working skills.
You will be adaptable, logical and work well under pressure
