Our client is a Global American manufacturing company who is looking to appoint a UK Head of Legal/ General Counsel who will be based in Berkshire.
This is a leading role within the organisation and will support all the UK business which will involve often deep and complex challenges. Therefore, you will need to be a functional expert and a business partner with legal skills, mainly in the areas of general commercial law which will include contracts, marketing and advertising, employment, food & regulatory law amongst other things.
You will ensure the efficient running of the legal support and manage the day to day legal work consistent with the priorities identified by the organisation. You will be an active member of the Leadership Team to provide proactive and strategic legal advice.
This is an exciting role for someone who wants the next challenge in their career, so candidates need to be able to demonstrate they have acquired the skills required ideally in the CPG sector, but also have excellent general commercial awareness. You will have gained at least 5-10 years' experience in a similar level role either In-house organisation with international exposure or in a leading Law Firm.
