Douglas Scott have a new opportunity for a Junior Employment Solicitor in Leeds. Our client is an International business with a fantastic reputation in the market.
You'll join an experienced and well established Legal team which specialises in Employment Law. Largely this will be advisory focussed, offering Legal support to varying Group businesses across the UK. You will be afforded excellent training, support and tuition from experienced in-house Solicitors.
Applications are invited from Junior Employment Solicitors (1-4 PQE) who have experienced both a contentious and non-contentious Employment caseload in their career to date. Ideally, a good grounding in contentious work will serve the successful candidate well, including exposure to Tribunal matters. Similarly, experience of transactional work in the form of supporting on TUPE will be ideal.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to make the move in-house. On a day to day basis the successful candidate will advise on contentious matters, provide advice and prepare documentation on tribunal cases, assist on non-contentious policy work, manage stakeholder relationships and lead on strategic cross team projects. You'll be afforded the opportunity to become a trusted business partner to specific areas of the Group where you'll. In addition, the team here handles a large portion of Privacy work for the Group, so for interested candidates you'll be ab le to diversify outside of your specialism.
The team has an excellent track record of developing their people in areas beyond the day to day Employment Law work. Flexible working is on offer, as is UK travel within the role.
