The Opportunity:

We are looking for a driven Accounts & Finance Recruitment Consultant who is looking to accelerate their career and earning potential with a new challenge within our vibrant Manchester office at No. 1 Spinningfields. You will be given the opportunity to place financial professionals into roles across the country with UK leading companies and law firms.

You will be proactive and confident in seeking business development opportunities so that you can develop your own client and candidate base in addition to the firm's well-established client base. This role would suit an ambitious, hard-working individual with a natural commercial flair and the desire to earn big money. You will also be team player and fit well with our company culture and values.

You will preferably be from an Accounts & Finance recruitment background with a desire to work in a fun loving yet professional working environment although we are happy to consider candidates from other sectors. You will possess a passion for recruitment and an eternal desire for success.

  • Generous basic salary starting from £20,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience

Rachel joined Douglas Scott in September 2012, her first official ‘office’ job role since leaving University. She started off as an Administrator and then moved onto the Support desk as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. As the DS team grew, an internal position came about for an Administration Manager which she decided to take, becoming the manager of 3 Administrators. She currently manages the Administration team but now covers all aspects of HR as the Douglas Scott HR Manager. Rachel’s duties include; performance management, employee induction and onboarding, training and development, employee relations, disciplinary and grievance, and LOTS of HR administration work. Rachel graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Criminology. She is undertaking the CIPD Level 5 to enhance her HR skills and knowledge as well as to develop as a HR professional here at Douglas Scott.
