Payroll Control Officer

Rochdale – £24,799 - £27,906

A public sector organisation in Rochdale is looking for an experience Payroll Control Officer to assist the Payroll Team Leader in providing a control and audit function, ensuring robust and compliant payroll activities are in place.
As the Payroll Control Officer, you will:

* Assist with payroll year end
* Liaise with HMRC
* Send payments
* Auditing and verification of data
* Submitting p8's

To be successful in the role you will need to have in depth knowledge and application of National and Local Conditions of Service and pensions schemes such as the Local Government Pensions Scheme, Teachers Pension Scheme and NHS Pensions Scheme.

In return you will receive a salary of £247999-£27905 and the opportunity to work part time (28 hours per week).
