Douglas Scott have partnered with a well-known household brand who sit in the Telecommunications and Media sector.

The legal department is responsible for advising on legal issues that arise in the course of business,

ranging from employment matters, commercial and corporate transactions, commercial contracts, to compliance and regulatory issues. Providing the wider business with expert legal advice the legal team is known as the hub of the company on a Global level.

Your duties as an Employment Solicitor:

  • Providing advice and counsel to Human Resources and senior business leaders in the UK and a Global level with respect to all aspects of employment law, including restrictive covenants, employee relations, onboarding, termination, compliance, employment-related contracts
  • Supporting the Legal Counsel in carrying out tribunal litigation
  • Support change programmes both TUPE and redundancy
  • Support M & A activity throughout the business at a Global level
  • Policy and immigration advice

The ideal Employment Solicitor will possess the following:

  • Ideally be minimum of 4 years PQE
  • Have a strong background in Employment Contentious matters
  • The ability to prioritise competing deadlines
  • Ability to provide pragmatic and commercial legal advice to all levels of the business
  • Up to date employment law expertise
