My client are a dynamic and forward thinking multi disciplinary Law firm in Manchester city centre are looking to appoint a Legal Cashier to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
My client has a great reputation for staff retention and development so is a great opportunity for those aspiring Legal professionals to get their foot in the door, not only will you gain full exposure of how an accounts team works within an established law firm but you will also engage in mini ad hoc projects set by senior members of the firm.
The Legal Cashier will join a team of experienced finance staff that will be on hand to support you especially during busy periods such as month end, along with a management team that will regularly meet with you to ensure you are achieving your career goals.
With a proven track record of providing a number of services to both corporate and private clients the business can offer a challenging role along with long term career opportunities.
Below is an overview of the duties included in the role:
* Duties include preparing journals
* Producing monthly consolidated bank reconciliation
* Dealing with banking and cheque production
* Client office transfers
* Completing Bank Reconciliations
* Paying and posting client payments
* Ensuring unpaid disbursements are correctly posted
* Reviewing office bank reconciliation's and ensure bank accounts are funded adequately
* General finance duties to assist with the month end processes
The successful candidate will be an experienced Legal Cashier or an experienced Finance Assistant who is looking to move in to a legal cashier role.

Amy returned from maternity leave in early 2017 and dove straight back to work, managing a large Master Vendor account as well as its dedicated team of consultants. She graduated with a Public Relations Degree from the University of Lincoln and before this studied at Harrogate Ladies College. In her spare time, she cares for her young daughter Evie.
