Urgent requirement for a temporary Payroll Administrator for a well-known organisation in Rochdale. This role does have the potential to go permanent and will last for a minimum of 3 months.
As the Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for the following:
* Accurate and timely processing of a payroll of 4000 employees
* Collating, calculating and processing monthly payroll adjustments, statutory payments and other required amendments
* Processes new starters and leavers
* Allocation of tax codes
* Answering payroll queries from members of staff
You must have at least two years payroll experience and have knowledge of up to date statutory and legislative regulations such as tax, NI and maternity pay. You will be a team player, customer focused and able to solve complex payroll queries as they arise. A working knowledge Sage Payroll is an advantage.
