Legal Admin Assistant
My is a highly respected firm based in the centre of Manchester and they are looking to secure their next Admin Assistant due to their current employee being promoted to a COP Paralegal!
This is a brilliant opporuntiy to join a firm who care about their staff and wants them to progress and fulfill their personal career aspirations.
To be succesful you will have some experience in a solicitors' practice, in a support role, undertaking similar duties and may suit a recent law graduate.
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be given administrative tasks by all members of the firm.
The role will include the following work:
Reception cover including answering the telephone to clients and welcoming visitors
Opening and scanning post, placing scanned post into our Case Management system
Putting together and sending outgoing post
Collecting and delivering post by hand
Copying and filing
Administration of archiving
Setting up meeting rooms e.g. for training
Changing printer toner cartridges
Setting up laptop and projector equipment when required
Experience of scanning, good IT skills and a flexible approach are essential qualities for this role.
Due to the nature of the firm and their services they need everyone in the firm to have a caring but professional approach - high standards of personal service to our clients are essential.

Lilly returned to Douglas Scott in 2017 following a one and a half year stint working in Finance recruitment. Following her promotion to Associate Recruitment Consultant, she now oversees our Legal Business Support functions and team. She works with a variety of clients from large scale international companies to smaller high street firms; her own focus centres around the recruitment of professionals including (but not limited to) HR and Business Development Managers, IT staff, Legal Secretaries, Personal Assistants, and Financial Controllers within the North West region.
