Employment Solicitor - Liverpool
A top 50 international firm based in Liverpool is seeking to an appointment an experience Employment Solicitor with upwards of 4 years PQE. You will carry out a case load of contentious and non-contentious Respondent employment matters.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Providing legal advice to a broad range of clients, from company owners and managers, HR professionals and in-house lawyers, to public and private sector organisations, as well as senior employees and executives, on a range of employment matters.
Managing a good mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Undertake all aspects of employment law including drafting various employment documents, maternity and paternity rights, discrimination, whistleblowing, employee relations issues, disciplinary matters and grievances, mediation, dismissals, redundancy, TUPE and employment tribunal claims.
Build and maintain client relationships.
Contribute to business development.
Law degree (or equivalent).
Demonstrable experience in supporting an employment commercial team.
The ability and experience of managing a caseload providing sound commercial advice.
Transactional support experience.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Adheres to guidelines and procedures.
An understanding of clients' needs and expectations.
Flexibility in approach and a willingness to work outside normal office hours, if required
