Job Title: Construction Paralegal
Location: Central London
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (DOE) + Above Market Benefits Package
I am looking to recruit an ambitious Real Estate/Construction Paralegal to join a growing In-House Legal team in Central London. The client is a leading international Construction Consultancy House based in the heart of London. Salary is offered up to £45,000 per annum (DOE) alongside an extensive companywide benefits package.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Real Estate/Construction Paralegal to join a dynamic In-House Legal team.
My client is one of the Europe's most respected construction consultancy houses- operating extensively across the Western hemisphere with offices strategically situated in the heart of several major European and North American cities.
This business has had the guiding hand in several major developments across the Western hemisphere. Such landmark projects range from consulting in the relocation and design of an international make-up brand to a new bespoke head office in the London region, to directly leading the construction management of one of Europe's largest urban redevelopment projects.
This will be a largely commercially focused role which will require an experienced Real Estate/Construction Paralegal to negotiate and manage a raft of commercial agreement documentation on behalf of the business.
An ideal candidate will have a strong academic background (LLB & LPC/LLM essential) and will have at least two years prior experience within a respected Real Estate and or Construction department. The primary duties of this role, however not exhaustive, are to:
* Negotiate and agree a range of commercial agreements- including appointments
* Negotiate and agree deeds of novation sub-consultancy
* Negotiate and agree sub-consultancy and confidentiality agreements
* Provide ad-hoc legal support to the wider In-house Legal team
* Assistant and conduct relevant Legal research
The company operates a strong team work ethos and believes that every employee holds an important place within the company. An enshrined "work hard, play hard" policy is adopted by my client, with regular team incentives and events scheduled throughout the year.
