1st July 2011 marked the date for this year's MTSG annual summer ball, and as proud sponsors of the event, we at Douglas Scott dusted off our best ball gowns and suits ready to make a night of it.
And what a night it was. Taking place at Manchester's Hilton hotel, the evening's festivities began as guests were welcomed by a stunning drinks reception whilst enjoying the event's fantastic Carnival-themed entertainment. Next up, we took to our seats and enjoyed a beautiful three-course meal followed by a performance from a live five piece band.
As a result of the evening's charity raffle, guests helped to raise over £1000 for the MTSG's chosen charity Barnardos. We also revealed our own generous side by giving away a brand new iPad 2, marking a great end to an even better night for one lucky lady.
Amidst all the excitement of the evening, the event gave Douglas Scott a chance to introduce ourselves and get to know some of the up and coming talent of tomorrow's legal world. A great evening had by all here at Douglas Scott and a big thanks to everyone at MTSG. We are already looking forward to the next event!
