My client, a busy trade association in the heart of the West Midlands are loooking to bring on an Employment Lawyer for their small in-house legal team. This role would suit a quality-driven solicitor who has a passion for Employment Law and customer service and is able to advise clients on a wide range of legal issues surrounding employment rights.
The ideal candidate will be at least 2 years PQE (although candidates with relevant experience who do not meet this requirement are encouraged to apply). You will have a demonstrable knowledge of employment issues, from redundancy, TUPE, long-term sickness etc. Mor than that, you'll have a passion for ensuring that those you work on behalf are getting the best, fairest and most applicable legal representation available.
Ensuring that each client receives a consultative, personalised and considered service is vital in this role, so my client are looking for an individual who is committed to customer service. Your caseload will not be time-recorded, but there will be an element of fee-earning, so a candidate who is keen to build on this would be highly advantageous and preferred.
With a starting salary of up to £40k, a central West Midlands location and the chance to work with a great deal of autonomy, this role is perfect for a solicitor or legal executive who is looking for their next in-house role where they can work with greater independence, or an experienced PP employment lawyer who is looking for a move in-house.
