East Midlands firm requires a commercial litigation solicitor with between 1-3 years PQE to join their existing busy team. Although they have stipulated this level of experience as a guideline they will consider candidates across a range of experience. This appointment would be ideal for someone who is looking to develop their career with a challenging workload in a supportive and friendly environment.
There is an existing caseload here and a following as such is not expected. You should, however be a very good and technically strong litigator. Your caseload matters will include contractual disputes, company disputes, property disputes and insolvency. Assist the head of department with his caseload of Commercial Litigation matters you'll develop the profile of the department and also be keen to work with all members of that team.
Other areas of law may include defamation, warranty claims , sale of goods/supply of services, product liability , breaches of trust & fiduciary claims and insurance disputes. You'll possess exceptional client care skills, have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, but be highly motivated with an ability to demonstrate proactive management of matters with a minimum of supervision, be a team player and able to get on with others.
You'll possess excellent networking and client development skills and have an outgoing personality. You should be self confident, assertiveness, flexibile, socialable and conscientiousness.
