Quite a busy month for Douglas Scott in the press.

The Guardian asked us to help them put together five myths about legal careers - something that was going to get the keyboards burning. Our Director, Jonathan Nolan, duly obliged. On May 6th the blue touch paper was lit resulting in a sometimes fierce debate covering glamour, pay, time in court, elitism and ownership.

69 comments and 482 shares across social networks later, the myths were internet history but it was definitely a fun piece to be involved with.

Managing Consultant, Jon-Paul Hanrahan, provided insight for The Law Gazette in a piece "How to: hire a Partner". It was a very informative article containing some really good advice from a number of industry experts.

If you are a Partner or Senior Associate who is considering a move then you could do worse than give Jon-Paul a call on 0161 233 6360 and ask him for a recent case study. Jon-Paul is now covering North West Commercial law hires but has covered both the London and Midland's markets in his ten year career at Douglas Scott.
